I have one outstanding debt that I didnt get to make arrangments to pay 2 years ago. I did actually send them a good chunk of money but I guess it was too late.

I agree. Contact them in writing. Tell them you will send 100$ a month or whatever you can afford, and use a prepaid debit card or something else easily trackable but not connected to your main bank account. Keep records of everything you send them. If they sue you, which is unlikely, you will have evidence that you are making a good faith effort to pay and they'll have a tough time winning.
