I'll make a few batches of fudge to give.  Last year I did Blueberries jam, but I may not do it again this year.

I did baskets last year, I traded a lady at work some jars of jam for jars of marinara she makes and cans and i made baskets for the inlaws. My mom, after 30 years of trying, has finally taught me to crochet JUST enough to make ruffle scarves. I have been getting the yarn on sale at the craft store for about $3-4 a skein and it usually takes 1 skein to make a scarf. So every lady on my list this year is getting a scarf!! I have been busy crocheting and can usually get one done during a football game on Sunday afternoons. I have about half of my list done, as well as making one for each of the little girls.

I knew how to crochet once but have completely forgotten. After school, maybe I'll try it again.

Great question! I am making butter tarts and a few other treats to give away. I usually just augment gifts so I don't have to spend as much money - not just give goodies. Maybe one day I'll be good enough to do that, lol.

I am making vanilla again this year. It was a HUGE hit last year and I got a few requests for it again this year :) It costs about $50 for 24 - 2 oz bottles with lables and seals. I love my homemade vanilla, but was nervous last year about giving them out...so glad people liked them!

Wish I had a good pattern/teacher for the croched scarves, I would love to make some for DD and I...and others too :) Time to hit up Google for good instructions........
