Burn Out

I posted last week about a small victory (nothing major other then saying no to a table). Having said that, I've been struggling a lot. I thought I was battling depression but I am starting to think its burn out. I read an article about burn out and it's me to a tee.

This past week was rough because I was travelling all week and had conferences and leadership meetings to attend all over the place. I haven't paid to eat out all of November and I've only eaten at home once (as in I've been eating conference food, take out

Glad to hear you finally got some rest and that you're able to do a lot of positive things with the government cheque!

Thanks Marie!
Once the cheque clears I am taking a page out of the "Marie" book and putting cash in the wallet and then taking out the CCs.

I am going to as "Santa" for my table. My mom dosn't have a lot of money and if it's still there (and only $25) then I will ask her for it! I'll feel good that she didn't spend a ton and she'll feel good knowing that it's something that I really really wanted!

HUGE progress, Bex!
I too have been traveling a lot and I hate coming home when tired to laundry, and house cleaning. This weekend allowed me to regroup as well, but not nearly as much as you have - GREAT JOB!
That government lump sum will make you feel better. Please throw some money in the back of your wallet to use for emergencies, and also save a bit in some emergency funds so you don't freak about spending.
OH, and how about that table now, as a reward?

Thanks ladies,
I am trying so hard to see the positives in everything. I have no ideas how you ladies with kids do it. Evertyhing seems like such a big task, even doing laundry. I have been so up and down lately that I'm really trying to get myself together and focus on being positive. Fake it till you make it perhaps?

This was a more positive post than I was expecting from the title.
