The Good: This was my first paycheck that had my raise (and only my raise ... last one had back pay on it as well) on it. It was $80 higher than I thought :) This means I can increase my spending money, debt payments and still have enough to pay for my cleaning lady (she went on maternity leave and I was doing it without her . . . I realized she is SO worth the money I pay her!!!) With this I was also able to pay off another $ 350 towards my debts!
The Bad: I'm fighting the flu. Not terrible but not great either.
The Ugly: The Canadian Government "lost" information on 563,000 people who borrowed student loans between 2000 and 2006. It includes name, address, parents names, SIN, DOB etc. I called and I'm on the list. I now have to contact the credit bureaus and my bank to put fraud alerts on my file. This stuff went missing IN NOVEMBER and they're just telling us now!
There is a class action law suit starting to try and get the government to pay for monthly credit monitoring! What a nightmare!

Hey congrats on the raise! I may have said it before but that is so great! DH got a a little raise too but it sure doesn't amount to much, but we will take it.
I saw that on the news about the student loans. Wow, I am so sorry you are one of those. What a pain the butt! I hope it all ok for you.
That is fantastic news about the raise!! Sounds like you are styling now :)
I hope you kick the flu soon, it is amazing how many ppl are suffering with it this year.
