I know, I know. We all have Halloween to get through first. And, some of us are hunkering down for Hurricane Sandy. Crazy looking storm, isn't it?
It's almost November! How did your October go? Share how you did and what you're planning!

If I don't review my monthly goals, I'm going to totally lose focus. It's just too much with the holidays coming up and now the heat will need to be turned on...
Please join me on your mid-month goals!
Ok here goes this is my first time doing this ! Excited about finding a group to check in with!
November
1. Pay for a half of beef I am thinking around $900
2.Pay off lawyer bill for contract on our rental house $325
3. Pay off another bill from accountant $125
4. Try to pay extra on Jcpenny CC, Gemoney CC and Dell CC so I can pay them off next month.
And one last thing I need to get snow boots for both my girls holding off as long as possible means we don't have any snow in the next 7 days any ways!!

I can't remember or find the post of what were my October goals but if one was related to fitness I would say that it was an EPIC FAIL LOL!
Here's my only November goal:
1. Throw everything we possible have to pay off our remaining debt of $4474.04 by November 30th. It's a real stretch but anything is possible!

We paid the Dentist in full so this is the first month in a long time that we owe no dentist or doctor bills. My health is OK...but not super. Lot of arthritis problems, especially with my back. I'm not a fan of cold damp days like we have been having. BUT.... now ...on to November Goals.
Start purchasing Christmas gifts and save more money for Christmas. Gee whiz, you think it would be getting easier....I've been on this budget for 3 yrs. now (since DH got his new job) you would think I'd have the hang of it. But as someone one said, life keeps getting in the way. Nothing big, just little stuff like high gas prices, higher food prices. I seldom purchase anything other than nail polish for myself (newest hobby, & I luv it). I'm talking CHEAP stuff!
I've got to schedule a mammogram before the end of the year and a recheck with my heart doctor for my pacemaker in January. I need to double check with the insurance company to see what exactly they will pay as I don't want to be stuck with a big bill like last year for going to the wrong place to get a mammogram.
Take care. Big Hugs to everyone....I've missed being able to get on the board. All I can do is respond, I cannot start a topic...
November goals are
Stick to $160 week food budget and $30 week household
Save $1100 for TX vacation--should cover pet sitter, all activities, and eating out (DH's company will pay for travel, hotel, and his food)
Finish holiday shopping and wrapping-cash for it all
research treadmills and telescopes
Oct. goals were
Empty out old house completely and get on market as a fixer upper-get it sold-turned this over to DH-- its on market
Pay off hospital bills $400, $100, $75-done
Put $250 towards EF-done
Put $250 towards short term savings-done
Put $400 towards Dec. vacation-done
Stay within $250 halloween budget-decoraitons, candy, costumes, activities-spent about $150
Buy rest of DS's holiday gifts (reserve $100 for any last minute shopping for him)-done and gifts are wrapped
Buy 2 rolls of stamps for the2 great-grandma holiday gifts-done but decided against stampsd for one of the grandmas will keep and use them for us
Stay within $350 clothing budget for DS-still needs a few items, I underestimated how much things cost
Stick to food budget $150 week and household $30-not happening, upping budget to $160 week for food
Hi all,
October was an average month for me. I managed to pay off some small bills/debts, but two of my children had their birthdays in the same week at the end of the month, so it was a bit of an expensive week (worth it though!)
November goals:
Pay off more 'smaller' bills
Put a thousand on my credit card
Start putting money away for Christmas
I think for November I would just like to play catch up and stop the bleed for spending. We don't usually go crazy for Christmas so this should be fine. We will have to pay curling fees and I have a girl dinner sceduled that i am looking forward to so that is a bit of spending I guess. Need to get out a bit more anyway and have some adult time! Those things don't cost too much though so it will be worth it.
