LOL, PB2011, if you knew how many purses I already own, you would not suggest that the "magic box" bring me

Be sure to tell your sister how your mom reacted and percieved it and ask her to play along as a gift to your mom.

Awww Kate, again, you should write these down - a collection of Kate stories of life! I would buy the book!

Kate, thanks for making me cry at my desk at work :)

Big (((HUG))) to you and your mom, both very deserving of Christmas miracles.

Thanks for sharing.

ps. I have a similar sister.

I agree with Stacy and the others, ou sis needs to be told to keep the miracle a secret.

I still get that "warm" feeling when I think how happy it made your mom.

I agree Norma and I had intended to approach her. I only hope that her lips don't become loose after having a few too many. I'll make sure I keep a plate of food with me and if I see any sign of her starting to blab, I'll shove turkey in her!!

Wow Kate, thanks so much for sharing. I have not read the thread yet. Too anxious to reply. :)

Not real sure what to think of your sisters actions, but I will give her this.... At least she is honest about who she is.

As far as your mom, what a blessing in disguise! I love it when little things happen to me and I believe it is God working in cognito.

I still have no idea how my hospital lab bill got paid, but I think I prefer not to know. I does give us hope.

You know, I understand and sympathize with Kate's sister. Her desire to insist on quality is something I identify with. Heck, that's partly what got me here. Naturally, I also have a sibling who does not approve. These days, I'm learning to accept lesser things, but it's actually easier for me mentally and financially just not to have things if I can't have the best.

I haven't performed miracles in a while.

Hi poorboy, I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting quality, as long as we can afford it.

Now quality versus extravagant may be another matter. I do think some things are worth investing in.

And who knows, you may have performed a miracle for someone and didn't even know it!
