Paid off transmission loan!

Sold the extra car and was able to pay off the transmission loan (on a vehicle I don't even own any longer).   Even have a couple hundred dollars to spare.  We sold the car for $500 more than we paid just 6 months ago.

I saved about $400 in interest by paying off the loan.

My 'old' medicial bills are under $400 now, so I think I will pay off one of them this month.  Medical bills never really stop, so focusing on ones that are one time type things.

My only consumer debt is now that darn $14,000 credit card.  For the last two years been status quo maxed out at $14,400.   Send money in and then use the card.   Oh wait, I do have a small balance on a Kohls card.  Shoot.  Well, that is only about $150 or so.

Anywho, so excited to be rid that loan and the $82 payment!  There is some light at the end of the tunnel.  Cool

Fabulous!  I know how much of a pain that transmission loan has been, so glad you not only made a profit on the sold car, but were able to tick off the transmission loan with it!!

Congratulations!!   I'm glad to see someone else wanted the car so quickly and you got the one you wanted to start with.  Good luck with the medical bills and the Kohl's card.  As far as the big card....it's going to take a lot longer to get rid of it than it did for it to build up.  I really fear ever having a credit card again because they are like forbidden fruit.   Too tempting!

Even though the amount of $14,000 is huge, the fact that it is only one card helps me mentally not be so overwhelmed.

I have annual checkup at the dermatoligist, and crossing my fingers I don't need any biopsies.  It is rare they don't find something, so not holding my breath.  Obviously my health comes first, but boy, it would be nice to have a year off of being cut-up.

It feels so good every time you knock one debt off, doesn't it?  I always felt like I'd shot and killed something I hated when I would pay off a debt, LOL!
