I've just joined the board about six weeks ago (at the same time poorboy did), and I've already learned so much.

Hi I am Duke and I have been on the board for about two years now. I am 40 years old (ugh!)

The group has raised my awareness a great deal and I am very grateful.

Kelly here in the northeast, 49yo, been with DH since we were 20, mom to three kids ages 19, 16 & 11. I've been the breadwinner of the family since 1996, when DH quit his job as a social worker to be a SAHD.

I joined DSG in 2004 (age 41) when my credit card debt had risen to over $50K, we were renting, spending as little as we possibly could, had no savings, no way to pay off the debt, and I couldn't see any way out of the mess we were in.
