Ha!

Finally got it. It was very close to the quote. I added an ice damn so ice and snow melt and don't just randomly fall off the building on the cars parked near the building. $20,000.00(just shy 19,989 and change).

Karen have you had the a/c unit cleaned annually? And do you have the filters changed regularly?? If not, as long as it hasn't burned out the compressor, it should just need a good cleaning and new filters. If so, I know its a pain, but bite the bullet and have it done at least annually. It'll save you a lot in the long run.

The a/c guys did that when they moved it so I am assuming it is not as simple as that. It wasn't working great before they did it and not great after they moved it either. I had not had it cleaned before that so I will see what they say in the spring. Thank you though.

ah okay, just checking. I hope they can get it running a bit better, and it doesn't cost you too much!

Ok, amendment. The eaves trough guys are here and they put it all up and gave me a bill already! A touch less than what I thought so moving on. I guess it is good to have it all done? Gosh i'm a broke cookie!

Well I know for you the "not knowing" is much worse than actually having that bill in front of you because you are not a "head in the sand" kind of person.
The roof should last a good long time and you might see more business tax deductions this year from the improvement - but I don't know what your system is for that there in Canada.
You have it in hand!
