Hi team! I just wanted to share some more good news . . . I was able to sell my car for a bit more than expected :) I sold it for $9100 (but had to put in $1500 in repairs) It was still better than the 6500 I was hoping for :) The money is going to go to paying off the repairs (which I put on the CC . . . its the only thing on the CC so I will be clear), paying off one last bill from the move (~ $2700), bringing the efund up to $1000 (its at ~$600 right now), topping up a few sinking funds (i.e. Christmas ) and then the rest will go on the student loan.

That loan is my last piece of consumer debt and I should be able to bring it down to under $13K! I am going to work my tail feather off to get it under $10K as quickly as possible!

So excited!!!

Yay, Bex! Do you have another car, or are you riding your Ninja exclusively now?

Hey, I got my motorcycle license! I don't think I'll get a motorcycle, even if we put side the question of whether I can afford a motorcycle (bascailly a luxury) at this point. It's a lot of fun to ride around on top of something that could potentially kill you! I'll see if I can borrow or rent a motorcycle...

Hey PB. I sold the bike to help fund the home reno's :( But I did get a new car. It's a company car and they cover gas and maintenance and insurance so it's a huge savings! It's really helping my bottom line!

PB, how exciting!  But no bike????  My DH purchased a bike before he was even endorsed.  We LOVE riding.  I don't know if I will ever get endorsed though.

Bex, don't you love it when a sale like that goes so well.  I forget, have you moved yet?  And won't you be selling your house?  I didn't realize you had sold your bike.  Bummer, but you can get another one later.  :)

That is so great the car sold so quickly. You will be under 10 grand for that student loan in no time at all with that being your last debt. Congrats!
