I know I haven't been around as much with everything going on, but I just wanted to let you know I'm still kicking :) I really appreciated all the comments to my last post. It really meant a lot to me.
As of this very moment, I have $850 on my CC. Over $500 of that is stuff related to the furnace and the other amount is work related :( Good news, its a 5.9% card. Bad news is
The furnace bill came to just under $9k and its on a don't pay until June 15 offer. In total I am getting $2k back in rebates, but I have been warned it can take up to 3 months to get the money in. So I will work to pay off the $850 myself (I have a three paycheck month coming up in March) and then I can put everything I have (rebates, money savings from mortgage, raises, tax returns) on the furnace in the hopes of getting it paid off entirely before June.
