On the weekend I roasted a chicken.
Saturday night I fed the four of us with carrots and potatoes. I made gravy. I had left over veges.
Sunday I made chicken soup with rice.
Monday, Tuesday lunches for DH and I. Monday night I cooked sausage and served the rest of the gravy and veges.

I have a wallet full of change, and a console as well. Dh does too an we have this huge vase with change on our dresser. Guess we should roll it up and take it to the bank or spend it or something? I mean it is like probably like less than $50 not much, but I just leave it there.
Maybe we can use it for our trip to Vegas in January? (Dh is tagging on a trip of mine for work.) Yeah, that is a good idea!

If they know it is leftovers, it doesn't go over well. So I have to be sneaky.
This doesn't really save money, but I have been sneaking in ground turkey to cut back on saturated fat. The milk would never fool them, but so far they kids are eating the fiber bars and no one is noticing the turkey.
Well on the change department we do both -- different personalities I guess.
