Tuesday Tips and Tricks
Tue, 10-18-2011 - 12:39pm

Sunday night I made a roast beef. I had left over mashed potatoes and gravy so Monday night I made shepherds pie. I love using left overs to made a complete new meal.

I was hoping for left overs for two lunches(from the sheperds pie)but it looks like only one. OMG my kids and husband eat a lot of food! I can`t go off this diet and start eating more. I need groceries...again! I`m using up some frozen smokies tonight, I doubt I will be able to use my bbq much longer.

Oh and my youngest made yet another banana loaf from frozen(almost throw out ready) bananas. Don`t throw those out, freeze them and make banana chocolate chip loaf. It came out of the oven last night at 8:30 pm and will survive the day. But I figure it saves on pre bought snacks they like to raid after dinner

Post away! Or just read. Sometimes I comment on other's posts, sometimes I don't. The more often you post, the more people will get to know you and comment on your posts.

I re-read the thread Free and this is my best guess as to why you feel this way.

The Tuesday Tips, Snowflakes, and Accountability posts are not necessarily intended to receive direct replies. In fact, it is extremely rare for me to get a direct reply in any of those threads. With 3 a week, it would almost impossible for everyone to reply to everyone.

If you are desiring a direct reply to a specifc question I would suggest a new topic be posted. This board can get so busy that sometimes a post can get burried and needs to bumped to stay on top.

There is an entire section for new people to introduce themselves. You may want to start there.

I do understand though. Sometimes I post something expecting 10 replies and I get 2. But then I look at how many lurkers read it, and I feel better. :)

I hope you stick around. I am the CL for another board, but since you and I are already acquainted from other boards, I felt compelled to respond.

Hope to see you around.

Norma those are fabulous! I would love a bunch of those gum containers for my desk drawers at work...for paper clips, elastics, staples, etc.

This is the first time I have ever seen you post. This place isn't "clicky" at all...people here are very supportive and non-judgemental. I understand about feeling alienated in general though. Stick around. Another website that might help you stretch your food budget is hillbillyhousewife.com She's great.
