Hi Kate,
If you google it, you will find hundreds of good websites for quinoa recipes. It's basically like cooking rice but doesn't take as long. I've only tried it a couple of times, it's a bit tricky, but I didn't put a lot of effort.

I bet it would be good with feta cheese and sunflower seeds, chopped bell pepper, etc. Maybe some lemon juice. I'm not a cook...and I have quit using commercial salad dressing

Tonight (if I have the energy) I'm talking inventory of my pantry and freezer/fridge.

Good luck Norma!

I should probably do something similar - the cupboards are full and I have no idea what's in them. Maybe it's time for me to do an inventory and see if I can use some of the items next week.

Well ladies, I tried something new that did NOT work.

Used the grill last night and didn't want to turn on the oven, so I tried putting my sweet potatoe fries in tinfoil and put on the grill with the steaks. When I went to check on them, they were soggy and partially black. So I opened up the tinfoil and put them back on, which dried them up a bit so I was able to pick them and eat. I think had I left the foil open the entire time, it may have worked. The blackened ones still tasted really good.
