Well things are going pretty good since Aug when DH got laid off, he got his GED and he's got a really good chance for a job as maintance supervisor he had an interview with them for about 6 hrs the other day and saw 6 different people the HR woman said she would call no matter what happen, they also emailed their benefit package to him, which I thought was hopefully was a very good chance. The pay is about half of what he was making on the rig but insurance is 120.00 less every two weeks, and he won't be eating out its from 10 pm to 8 am and we live in a small town so no food places are open.
We have keep our bills paid up with unemployment and him selling tractors and 4-wheelers but people don't buy like they use too. The best thing we have going is that our house is paid for and or vehicles are. We do have a car, RV and some credit cards that aren't. but if we lose them we still have a roof over our heads and vehicles .
So hopefully we'll find out something first of next week . Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers , hope everyelse is doing good
Well we think he's got the job.
,HR manager emailed and said this we’ve met as a group and we really enjoyed meeting with you and think you’d be a great addition to the team but their executives are at a conference . and the HR manager is pushing for an answer again and said she would let him know as soon as I hear something. So hopefully we'll find out for sure
I was thinking about you guys. Any word on the job? (fingers crossed)
Having your house and vehicles paid off is huge! I can't imagine they would send a benefits package if they weren't going to offer him the position. That would just be wierd.
My paws are crossed, but it sure sounds like he's got that job. I would be so surprised if he didn't.
GOOD LUCK!
Good for you for being so positive. I know this must be scary at times.
I'm so happy for you that your house and some vehicles are paid off. That will take some of the stress off for sure. Are you trying to sell the ones that still have payments that you don't need maybe?
I hope he gets the job. Its sounds like you guys are really trying and that is so uplifting! Keep us posted and keep your chin up!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that your DH gets the job! That's great that your house and vehicles are paid off so there's no worry of losing them :)
