Weekend Expenses
Thu, 11-29-2012 - 11:25am

Are you shopping this weekend? Quiet weekend at home?

I just blew a stupid amouny of money at Costco(close to $400) but I am closer to finishing Christmas gifts and the meals. I'm not done yet though. *sigh*

I have a girls dinner and movie planned for Saturday night. That could be expensive depending on where we go....not sure yet.  I do have to work in the morning.

Sunday no plans so I hope no spending!

  • Only plans are DD12 volleyball tournament.  They play until they lose.   They only won 2 out of 7, so more and likely a short day.

Grocery shopping will probably be the extent of my spending.

I'm planning on doing some xmas decorating tonight and tomorrow.

Saturday we are heading to H's company Xmas party.  The company is picking up our hotel for us, so it's only gas and drinks we need to cover (and we can't drink much 'cause it's a work thing - lol).

I'm guessing this will be a fairly low key weekend overall.

SGL - that was my last weekend :)

Today I played hooky from work bc we had no sitter for the kids. Took DS2 to drop in gym & had a latte ($7) Also had to buy things for cookie exchange - $170 but that included a birthday present and lots of fixings for our big cooking day on Sun. We're making chili, lasagna & taco pie.

Sat I have hockey so the boys will probably get juice in the viewing area ($4) and if Dh isn't working we'll have a couple of beers ($15).

Sun will be stay home and cook!

Have a great w/end everyone :) Ho, ho, ho...

We had plans, but DS is not feeling well so it will be a quiet weekened mostly at home.  He is disappointed to miss his lunch/movie date with my mom and his dance.  Yesterday DH ran out to get a splitter so we could plug in all the light strings at once.  Some bills were paid.  Today DH needs to go out and pick up the remainder of the ILs gift so we can ship it next week.  Otherwise a quiet day at home-chores, a movie, DS has homework.  Sunday some or maybe all of us (depending on how DS feels) will be going to SILs to celebrate the season.  I'll probaly pick up flowers or a pointsetta plant to being over as a hostess gift so a bit of money spent but less than $10.
