What is everyone's plan this weekend? Do you have to spend some cash or are you going to keep it frugal this weekend?
We have a bonspeil so there will be some cash going out this weekend. Probably $150. MIL is babysitting so that is great we don't have to pay for that. And we need to do this for us and rarely spend money ourselves anyway.
Its sucks that we needed to get a tire patched and get the septic looked after. I need to pay a small dentist bill next week and go there myself. Just a bunch of little things adding up. Oh plus the quarterly car insurance payment is due. That one was planned for . Lots of money flying out the door!
Have a great weekend!

I'm in Ohio...this weekend is going to be beautiful! Saturday is mid 60s with low in 50s! That being said, we are heading to the camper to check on things and enjoy all day Saturday and Saturday night there. We have some friends who keep their camper at the same campground. They are spending Saturday there also. Other than gas, it's going to be a cheap weekend. All kids are staying home too!!!
As far as bills, I transfer a certain amount biweekly with a $140 monthly cushion, so money is always in the bill pay account. Everything else is paid using cash in specific envelopes.
Starting next friday, I've redone our budget and increased our snowball. Some envelopes have been cut a little. So there will be a little ajustments financially.
Enjoy your weekend! I know we will! It's going to feel like spring! :)

Frugal.....unless something pops up that I don't know about or unexpected. I sure hope not, because until the next payday, we're running short on funds. I will be putting $500 back next Thursday in the Emergency fund. That's a BIG relief!
Have a great weekend ALL!
We are taking our daughter out for steak this Saturday..her 16th birthday was yesterday! My MIL is watching the two younger kids, so it will be nice. Other than that, nothing planned other than the usual grocery shopping bit. Dh and I are going out tonight- we will talk long term plans over dinner, which will be nice. Things have been a little hectic here.
Oh my oldest DS turns 16 in Feb as well. I had also planned on taking just him for a steak supper! Hope he still wants to with his mommy lol, but I doubt he would pass on steak! hehehe
I'm going to have a frugal weekend. I need to prepare for my interviews, so I'll be working away.
I've been suffering from the cold that seems to be afflicting the whole country. Hope my DGS buddies in Canada are doing better. Maybe this weekend I can finally hit the gym again. It was miserable to be trapped in the house all the time because I was too sick to do much.
Hope you have fun this weekend, and happy birthday to the daughters!
Be gentle with yourself, PB. Sometimes sickness is how your body tells you to slow down and rest because very often we ignore the more subtle messages.
It is cold here in the Rocky Mountains. This weekend's high is 19 degrees with snow on its way. I am fortunate that I love snow sports, so the more the merrier!
It will be a relatively frugal weekend. A tank of gas ($40) to go skiing, split with a friend. Season ticket already paid for. We always bring food and s thermos of hot chocolate to avoid paying outrages prices at the slope. On Sunday I need to pick up about $35 of grocery.
The grand total: $55
