Weekend $$ Plans?

Hi all , its Thursday.
We will decide if the baby's room needs one more coat of paint and probably do that this weekend. We have a dresser to pick up from friends so that would be nice to pick up and good timing for that room.
Saturday night we have to go to a wedding reception that we really don't want to. That is $100 I'm ill at easet to part with but must be done.

Frugal. I'm taking some honors student to dinner, but I'll get reimbursed.
From now one I'm going to have to stay frugal, because I want to be able to take a trip in May and see some friends. Not to mention the dental bills that will come in before too long. :(
Edit: I probably have a tea/"date"...
Tomorrow is her birthday and I've planned a few activities. We'll have a pancake and maple syrup breakfast at the Sugar Bush with my parents. Mom still doesn't have teeth from her surgery but her tastebuds are starting to come back. She can only taste "sweet" right now, so maple syrup and soft pancakes is perfect for her! In the afternoon, DD and I are going to the National Gallery to see an exhibit. And then it's dinner at a very swanky (i.e. expensive) restaurant. The hotel in which the restaurant located was architecturally designed by a man who perished on the the Titanic. In honour of the Titanic's anniversary, the restaurant is recreating the first-class menu from the ship. It has 11 courses! (which I doubt I'll be ordering because it's simply too much food).
Sunday will likely be quiet. DD was instructed by her doctor to fast for 24 hours before beginning the lactose-free diet, so we won't be eating (which also means no cooking and no dishes!).
