Friday I have a career counselor appointment and want to just clean house. Saturday I have a half day meeting for my teaching that is required for us. Sunday we are going to visit DS at college with Dh's parents, so gas and dinner out there.
Other than that, not much at all. We have food and I am on a bland diet anyway (due to get gallbladder out in the next two weeks, joy.)

I'm driving two hours to give a talk at a (relatively) nearby university tomorrow. (It's a paid gig, or so I assume. But as with the standard practice in academia, they don't tell you how much you're getting paid until you've done the gig. No, it has nothing to do with your performance, because the check is cut ahead of time. It's just the culture. Money isn't supposed to be important.) I might have a bit of fun there with my blow money. Then I'll return on Saturday in time for a ballet (the cost of the ticket was included in the budget of the week of the purchase). Two friends want to have dinner. I'll go, but I'll feel like I'm packing too much into one weekend.

I wish you the best of luck, and hope that your medical issues will get resolved and you'll get your health back.
I myself got a flare up today. Yuck.
Finishing up the
Have you considered putting a line in your budget for medical? Seems like it may help and will exasperate you less. Just a thought.
Frugal.....doing some light yard work Sat. & Sun.
