Weekend $$ Plans?

Its Thursday.

We are FINALLY taking a two night trip to the states this weekend. We didn't do anything after we got married in June because of all those dental expenses and getting satellite(set up and dish fees). It will be all in cash, the hotel is a good price, 2 other couples are coming with us, and I am sooooooo looking forward it! Just getting away and having FUN!

Oh, AND, I'm pregnant! I know, I know...but we have been planning this for soooo long! We are sooooo happy. (Getting baby stuff this weekend at good prices, all money saved in cash!) . July 15th is my due date. We are going down to one salary, and because the car payment is done in June(luck I know) we will be just fine with that(I have a had a baby budget in the works for a year now). I will do all my accounting at home and all my ordering at home online and just treat my staff as my salary to make up the difference because we won't need my salary. Our only consumer debt will our truck(that is worth more than we owe) , the payment which is reasonable fits in our budget, and we will owe $13,222. Very excited!! *Giggle*

But of course post your comments, concerns ect and I will try to answer all of them.

Thank you Marie,

You can win the weight loss battle every time. I will likely gain and lose the same 15-20 extra over and over again. Hoping to keep this weight gain to a minimum but I guess we shall see. I will not be losing any weight any time soon though lol!

The college fund for the baby will be funded by the government for the first little while believe it or not. Regardless of income each child is given $100 a month until they are six years old. That money is not included as income in my budget and I will be putting it straight into an RESP which will be then again matched by the goverment. I don't plan to play for the whole education but that is my plan until the child is 6. Then I reevaluate probably when the child is 5 as my budget will have changed once again. The diapers and formula have been added to my grocery baby budget trust me on that one!

My boys(12 and 15 in a few weeks) we intially very shocked and not thrilled with the news but they are warming up to the thought now and once they see the belly come out and then the baby I'm sure they will melt. One day at a time there.
