Weekend $$ Plans?

I am not working this weekend! Its about time my boss gave me the whole weekend off! She can be such a &@$#* sometimes LOL!

Friday night we have to go to DH's staff Christmas party. It should be fun. I am assuming we don't have to pay for anything but this is the first party with this job so I really don't know. A bonus would be nice! LOL, but also not expected.

Tonight Dh and I are going to a cullinary adventure from one of our local icon restaurants to taste Wisconsin cheese and midwest beers.

We're picking up a Christmas tree tonight (budgeted), then decorating tomorrow night.

Should be okay. My Christmas shopping is DONE! I ordered my last gift online yesterday (okay I still need stocking stuffers for the dogs, but I can't get those in advance because they can smell those pigs ears a mile away!!!!) Tomorrow we have a dinner party with BF's friends. I have to bring a dip so I am totally copping out and getting a spinach dip from the store and pumpernickel bread and calling it good!
Saturday BF invited people over for venison burgers (he first successful hunt!) and beer to watch the UFC. His house is under construction so he can only "fit" 5 people and more than that RSVP'd, so guess who's hosting :( I have to make a nacho dip for that! Sunday will be writing my Christmas cards, wrapping and just getting organize.
I need to save. Next weekend BF and I are doing a weekend at Niagara Falls, and even with all my planning and good deals, it will still cost us about $400 (combined, not each, lol)
Oh well . . . at least I get to show off my pretty tree!

Duke, have a great time in Niagara Falls!! The falls are so pretty -- can you believe DD has never seen them? She mentioned it to me last year and we kept intending to go down for a weekend but it never happened. Maybe in 2012.

Bex, I am so jealous you're finished your Christmas shopping! I still have so much to do. :-(

My weekend will be similar to Gotarock13 and Norma. I'll be putting up the tree (if we can find cranberries!) and baking cookies.

Kate I insist you and DD make a plan to save for Niagara Falls! BF and I are going next weekend for a weekend getaway :) We got a great deal at travelzoo which includes breakfast and dinner and two wine tours (plus a kingsized room with fireplace and jacuzzi ;) ) for $115.

You could even take the train (I think there is a train from union :) ) I can always play tour guide :)

So Jealous. I'm a lot older than Kate's daughter and I have never been to Niagara falls. I have always wanted to go. Wine tour??? Whaaaaa!
