Weekend $$ Plans?

What have you got planned for the weekend?

I have a couple of dinners to make for family but I have all the ingredients and my MIL is donating the steaks for me to bbq. I might have to get some beer.

Debating on the State Fair, or a permanent amusement park an hour away, or a local outdoor amusement-like park that I could also take my grandson.

Honestly, it will depend on whether it is a family day, or just a day with my DD. Me and DD kind of had it figured out after an hour of crunching numbers (great lesson for her).

But SO piped up, so if he wants to go and pay for half of one of the spendier places, that is okay, too.

Other than that, a little more school clothes shopping, and if I am lucky, the grocery store. I am out of practice getting things done working 5 days a week. :smileyhappy:

We are going camping so with camping fees it will be about $70 for three nights camping.  No stores there to spend money so all should be good! :smileylol:

Galpal can't spend the weekend with me. The reason behind it makes me feel terrible. Well, I'll see whether galpal2 is up for hanging out. (I think she likes me, but I'm not into her.) The weather report isn't promising, so maybe the outside will look like my inside.

Money plans? Well, I think I get paid today. Will have to start saving for next summer. In the best scenario I'll get a job and get out of this forsaken place. I'll have to make a new budget, thanks to increased living expenses. I don't anticipate spending money on much.

This week has been expensive enough already. First, I discovered that the previously free routine dental cleaning is no longer free, since I reached my maximum annual coverage in my dental insurance. Then I discovered that this medication I need is really, really, really expensive. Oh, great. New monthly budget. I'm feeling like maybe I can't make my budget work.

Nothing much going on here...

Today I have DD's preschool orientation to go to.  She's excited because she gets to meet her teachers, classmates and check out her classroom.  I'm not so excited because 1) She's growing up and 2) I get to write a tuition check to the school lol I think I'll take her to the pool and spray park this afternoon though.

Saturday, nothing going on.  I don't have to work so I'm going to take care of the grocery and household shopping.  I'm hoping with the holiday weekend it will be somewhat slow with people out of town.  Military people leave town every 3-4 day weekend they get :smileyhappy:

Sunday, another day with nothing.  We may go to the beach, or we may go to the pool.  Depends on the weather.

I don't have any plans for the weekend, except studying for my medical terminology class and continuing my job search.  I have been cooking at home a lot, and there might be enough money leftover in the budget to order a pizza : )    Boring, but that's ok.  Just enjoying the little things in life.

It's going to have to be another low key weekend for me.  I'm planning on sailing, biking and kayaking - all for FREE!

I really wanted to buy some lights for my sailboat so I could sail in the full (blue) moonlite tonight, but after balancing my Aug budget, I found myself off by approximately $150.  Arg!  No lights for me, I guess.

Baking, cooking and cleaning.

I have to take the boys out before they start to tear the house apart!!

Planning to have our home assessed by a realtor. Free until we have to pay the $10K in fees if we sell it, lol :smileyhappy:

$40-50 for a cashmere sweater (they are having a sale and DH washed my favorite one and ruined it!!!!)
