Weekend $$ Plans?
Thu, 10-27-2011 - 11:11am

I work a 12 hour shift on Saturday and a 4 hour shift on Sunday. I have no plans as of yet to do anything else so we will see what happens. I hope not to spend any money.

All of my homework is done and next week won't open until Monday, so...that will probably mean catching up on some housework.

Housework is actually a wonderful break from homework!

I did some comparative grocery shopping today and saved 32% on groceries for this week.

Hubby is going to try to get his car in storage to start and relocate it so we can get rid of our storage shed before we have to pay for another month.

Possibly some minor costs associated with repairing our snow blower tomorrow morning.

WHAT??? Only 5 days! Thats horrible. I agree with Duke . . . Americans have the worst vacation (and Canadians are a pretty darn close second!!) In some ways I think the Europeans have it right!
My sister is in town this weekend and I am hoping its not too spendy. Saturday I have to go help my cousins move my grandma back into her house from the care facility. I have mixed feelings about this as she is thriving in the facitlity, but she wants to be home and far be it for me to tell an 84 year old who just survived a heart attach and a quadruple bipass what to do!
Sunday I'm going to do a massive batch cooking day to prepare for "eating in November". I'm thinking shep's pie, lasagna, meatloaft and other classics that freeze well, along with a few different soup batches!

5 days a week is criminal....I think Americans have the worst vacation policies followed closely by Canadians....

My family in Europe starts at 8 weeks and most have ten weeks now.
