Thursday, Thursday!

Oh boy well I'm not sure what the plans are yet. I was supposed to golf tomorrow night to make up a game our counterparts can't make for ladies league but it is a 70% chance of rain for tomorrow night. And I was supposed to golf in a tournament on Saturday but that is not going to happen because we are short one person.

Saskatoon berries--they are mostly in Canada and much like a blueberry. We have raspberries on the property as well. They will be ready in a week or two.

Norma, the picture is beautiful!!

I ensured that I don't have plans -- turned down an invitation to have lunch with a friend and suggested dinner next week instead -- because I really feel the need to have a quiet, uncluttered weekend. What I want to do this weekend is putter around my kitchen, do a little baking and read a book I just took out of the library called "Lost and Found : Unexpected revelations about food and money". It's about a woman who wrote many weight loss books and pumped all her profits from her books into investments with Bernie Madoff. She lost over $1M. The memoir is about the irony that she spent a great deal of effort not to indulge in unconscious eating, at yet was completely unconscious in her relationship with money. I just started it and it's very interesting!
