Any plans for the weekend? Planned spending?

I don't have any real plans. Just to bbq a little I suppose. Getting in some walks would be nice. I wish it would cool off a bit!

I plan to stay sane. No unnecessary spending, please.

I have a lot of work to do.

I am debating the "planned spending" and my money this weekend.  Virginia is having a tax free holiday for back to school shopping and while I want to take advantage of it, I was hoping to have more money put away for DD's school shopping; she's only 4 and it's not like she needs a lot but I know she needs a few things.

Friday- If I go school shopping, it will be today.  I'm off work and once I get the house clean I won't have a whole lot else going on.  I do plan to take DD to the pool though :smileyhappy:

Saturday- Yet another work day.  I'll go in for my normal 5 hours and then come home.  This will most likely be another pool day.

Sunday- Either the beach or the spray park, I'm honestly not sure.  Either way... free/low cost activities :smileyhappy:

I'm not sure money wise how the weekend will be.  We have truck maintenance, lawn mower maintenance & the vet is still to come.  So it could be expensive, but I have that covered.

Otherwise:

Pick blueberries and make one more run of jam.

Weed & spruce up flower beds.

Clean house & the usual laundry.

Then return to work on Monday POOPED!

Drink beer.

Zero cost, as it's already been purchased.

Thinking of painting some doors (interior doors) that I have been putting off for months!  Kids are gone camping with my parents so it is nice quiet weekend at home with dh.

No major purchases or shopping planned.  I might need to buy a new paint brush or roller.  Plans include picking raspberries (daily) as I have a bumper crop this year, other gardening, and just relaxing a bit with dh.  Hoping we can take in a movie - lots of money in our entertainment jar that we can use.

Hopefully . . . not a heck of a lot! This is a long weekend so I am looking forward to that extra day off! Grandma had her surgery today and pulled through, so that is a HUGE weight off my shoulders :smileyhappy: Now all of a sudden I feel exhausted!
I may make some meatloaf this weekend and freeze a bunch (ground chicken) and will head to the gym (I'm sick of 'donating' money to them!) Alos thinking of taking dogs down to the lake for a swim (them, not me!) so hopefully a non-spendy weekend!

We are going to spend the entire long w/end w/out spending much

Tonight hockey: babysitter $25 and then maybe a diet coke in the bar w/the team $3
Sat: free starbucks latte for me and 2 free sundaes for the boys. picnic at the spray park. I'll have to pay for DS1's drop in gym so $20 total.
Sun: we'll probably do another park, this time w/Dh and play sports. Then games night after dinner.
Mon: depends on whether DH works or not. I think we'll just hang out in our backyard, do chores and some relax. $0

Dh is working OT tonight so we should be ahead even with that spending. I try to have zero spending w/ends but it seems impossible for us...but $25 for a babysitter when DH is going to make $350 is worth it...
