Its Thursday.
I do not have to work this weekend. yay!
I am probably going to go to a movie with my girlfriend. Those are my only plans. That will be around $20.

There was a time for that, and though I still look young (or at least young enough), I have secretly matured beyond collegiate partying. On the other hand, I still like monkeys, turtles, frogs, bunnies, etc., and I play well with kids. But these these kids aren't those kids.
Sorry to hear you're so busy and exhausted at work, Kate. Someone once advised me: fight mental fatigue with physical fatigue, and physical fatigue with mental fatigue. Perhaps you can be both productive and well-rested. BTW, good job on saving your unit from unemployment! Many people will be grateful, I'm sure.
Norma, how's that shoulder? It seems like you've got way too many chores for your own good.

I was actually offered a small promotion a year ago that would have involved a move to Edmonton. I turned it down... and now, that job was cut. I am so relieved I didn't take it!! DD had a close call at Health Canada -- her unit had big cuts, but somehow she wasn't one of the people laid off. The atmosphere is just crazy in the government right now. Everyone is scared!
