Lonesome here.....

If I had time, I'd feel very lonesome around here.  I check in as often as possible to keep the gremlins from posting unwanted posts.

I'm trying to become familiar with the ins and outs of our long term care insurance.  DH is sliding slowly downhill, but his care is becoming more than I can handle by myself.

If you don't have long term care, I suggest that you get it!

Wishing everyone good health, I am your very tired CL!

So sorry to hear about your husband. :smileysad:

My BIL sent an email out to the family this morning. . . my MIL put her hearing aids in the jar of water with her dentures last night, so her new hearing aids are now shot.  She doesn't have round-the-clock care, but it's starting to seem like she needs it.  Who knows when she might remember she has a stove, and get the bright idea to use it. . .

We just got long term care insurance last year.  Consumer Reports Money had an article on it this month.  My father got it for my mother, and it was well worth it.

Pinch Penny I a not familiar with what is going on with your DH.  It must be tough to see someone you love needing care and just as tiring to be the care giver.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your DH.

Perhaps, when you can, you can share what you find out about long term care insurance?
