Bananas are also extremely affordable because when I do buy them they're usually about 20cents each. The problem is I find that banana taste to completely overpower everything in a recipe. I do once in awhile pick them up to use as a quick snack or to satisfy an out of control sweet tooth.
I love banana icecream and so does my daughter and I have a few other recipes where banana works. We only eat bananas here when they are under 2.5 dollar per kilo
