This is an excellent idea and one I'll put on my to try list. When I embarked on my weight loss journey ages ago I put all my large plates away and only used the small ones (which were half the size). I'd fill the small plate, eat, and then realize I was full. If for some reason I was still hungry I might put a small scoop of something on that small plate as a second helping, but it still didn't equal the amount of food that fit on one of those larger plates. I shudder to think I used to eat 2 large plates full of food nearly every meal.

It's amazing that we can fool our mind into thinking like that.

Hi Brenda I love the idea of the small place which I've been using for a year now. I psych myself up to not eat certain foods and Mac-N-cheese is one. I love the muffin tin idea too. Thanks for sharing.
