Absolutely! I completely agree with the tip to ASK. If you don't ask, they certainly aren't going to just volunteer a cheaper price. The worst anyone can say is no.

In the past, we have purchased floor model appliances, if in good condition. Open box items are a money saver and re-conditioned items are as well. We recently purchased a slightly used king mattress set from a well know mattress store for a generous discount. The store offers a 90 day period that if you are not happy with the mattress you can return it. If returned, the mattresses must meet strict requirements. They are then inspected and sanitized and then resold. Our mattress set has the same original warranty and have the same strict return requirements. We love the bed and saved a nice amount of money.
