I couldnt figure out on which board I should ask this - so here goes....

I hear writing your will online is easy to do & then you can simply take it for notarization & it's official.   But does anyone have any experience w/this???

What are the main points I need to consider?   What are some legitimate sites to use to do this?

Thanks!!!!

As a lawyer I would advise that it's not a good idea.  We only charge $250 to do a simple will--it's not really that expensive.  sometimes there are tax issues involved that you might not think of--and you have to do more than have it notarized.  In my state,  you need 2 witnesses & a notary public and there are things that you need to consider--if you don't understand the legal terms then you won't know what whether you are doing is right anyway.  You need to pick an executor, for example, but it's better if you say in your will that the executor doesn't need a surety on their bond--do you understand what that means?  if not, then you should just see a lawyer.
