The thread on Easter jewelry got me wondering:  How do you clean your jewelry?

I usually just use a solution of 1 part mild dish washing soap to 5 parts water.  I clean it in the solution, rinse, then let it dry.

That mght depends on the jewelry type you wanna wash. I woudl treat them differently according to their materials and style. :) Pearls, gold, platinum, diamods, handmade jewelry and so on have different cleanning method (only the handemade ones are mine, others are my sisters or aunts).

Like Merideth, it depends on what I'm cleaning. I use silver cleaner for silver, brass cleaner for brass, a lotion type cleaner my Dad gave me for copper and gold and a quick dip in hot soapy water for regular beads....with a good rinse, of course. Anything with a fabric cord gets the soapy water treatment.

For some things I use a soft brush....in fillagree and fancy work. On others, a soft cloth.

Oops, Meredith...misspelled your name in that last post.....and I hate it when someone does that to me! Apologies all over the place!
