and, hopefully, wiser!

Remember back when we graduated from high school and thought we knew it all? Or college and KNEW we knew it all?

Share a graduation picture with us.....don't have to do a comparison to today! (I'm neither that mean nor willing, myself!)

Sure.....I graduated in 1965.....and am 65 NOW! Neat coincidence!

We all got those lovely "drapes" to wear....not allowed to have our own clothes...BUT we could have a maribou scarf in our packet of pictures but NOT in the yearbook. The guys were all shirts, ties and suit jackets.....suit jackets also loaned by the photographer.

I had most of my kids' senior pictures taken by the same guy who did mine. He made ME look good so I figured he'd do well with better material!

I was born in 1968 and graduated in 1986 - Thought that was interesting.

We were allowed to wear anything we wanted, as long as it was allowed by the school dress code. Boys were asked to wear jackets and ties, but weren't required to. Only a few didn't. A few boys were dressed in nice polo-type shirts, and 2 were dressed in ugly tee shirts. Those 2 guys did not have their photos professionally done, though. How do I know? I still have my yearbook, and just looked. LOL I was a little annoyed - My mother and I spent days trying to find something nice for me to wear, only to find out several months later that the yearbook was done in back & white!

Our class picture is on the inside of the covers (front and back), and was done in color. It was taken at a fairly new (at the time) mall that was about 30 minutes away. We weren't told where we were going, or why we were going. When we arrived we were herded to a stopped escalator. We got to stand where we wanted on it just as long as our heads and faces were visible. I tried scanning it, but it came out with weird lines running through it.
