My Two Rabbits

After a month of learning, my rabbits are here, the first one and the latest one. Well, I’d say, practice makes perfect, difference between the two really shocked me when pictures was taken, and they are too different! Well, what’s your feeling about your first project and your latest project? Do you still remember your first finished piece?

I'm not sure what my first piece of anything was. Toooooooooo long ago. But I do know I can follow the same directions twice and get vastly varying results depending on materials used, pressure put on and all that.

Probably it was something like salt dough or paper dolls cut out of the "Monkey Ward" catalog. Either that or making doll clothes out of our old, holey socks!

I think MOST of the time I do get better with practice but sometimes I get overconfident and try to do something new and different and bungle the heck out of it! I'll try a different additive to a recipe and get gloppy stuff or try to mix two paints to get the color I ran out of and end up with something that doesn't match AT ALL, although it SHOULD. It's all part of the learning process, I tell myself....and sometimes I do come up with something better!

I do like the second bunny better :)

My mother and sister taught me how to sew, knit and crochet when I was a kid, but I don't remember what my first project was.

Wow, so cute rabbit. It would be very beautiful to use it as cellphone chain or key chain. :)
