I do !  ....we don't have "green "pick up in our town...so we compost. We have a LOT of stuff that we need to compost...and it takes forever to break down.  Do you "do "anything to speed up the process??  naturally of course..?

We do have a pile that DH puts vegetation in, so that' a start I guess. I won't let him burn, so it'll be good soil at some point!! It's SO dry here, we might have to add water once in a while to speed it up. Not sure I want to add kitchen waste though, we have skunks that like to visit. And I don't want to draw the coyotes in any closer. Or the neighbor's dogs that that matter, who think our yard is the potty area.

That is so cool that you have curbside greenery recycling and that they give it back to the community! I've never heard of that before.

Here you can go get "zoo doo" for your garden, and apparently tiger and zebra poop makes a pretty good deterent to critters in your garden.  After storms, if you drag your limbs to the street, the city will pick them up and grind them, and you can go get mulch.  It works pretty well!

I could get the chipper attachment for my Mantis tiller but  it doesn't do the big stuff.  Better off renting one, if I have someone with a truck willing to go get it for me!  So I just haul it to the curb and share.
