Have you eaten squash blossoms?

I just got my Martha Stewart Living magazine and was reading the article about squash flowers. Have you ever eaten them? She says they taste a little bit like squash itself, and gave a few recipes like squash blossom frittata and pasta with squash, blossoms and tomatoes. I'm a little curious now!
