My DH has tried all sorts of markers for his hosta and daylily collection

We used Popsicle sticks this year. Some are holding up okay so far, but the ones that constantly get wet are not going to last. The marker is fading into the wood. I would love to make some of these with spoons...

I've used various things for plant markers, from pieces cut from mini blinds, to stones, to cutlery, to popsicle sticks and more.

I think I will take the stone idea for this year. My daughter will like painting them ;o)
