Our friends at Triscuit would like to know...

How do you combine color and yummy-ness in your edible garden?

Do you plant fruits and veggies in a wide range of colors? If so, is it by design, or just because of your tastes?

I have two colors of tomatoes ( because I like variety I flavor) and one of eggplant but that really has no significant impact on the overall color of my garden.

The garden's color is based on DH's planting...

We don't really grow by color either. We plant more by what we know we can grow and we'll eat. We might try something new each year to test it out, but color doesn't really factor in.

I wouldn't say I garden by color, but I do plant eggplant in our front yard. I usually use it to fill in where I want perennials to spread but they haven't yet gotten there. I think the eggplant flowers and the eggplants themselves are gorgeous.
