QOTW: What do you reuse in the garden?

Composting is like giving your food scraps a second life. This week, our friends at Triscuit would like to know:

What else do you reuse in the garden?

Don't forget to register your garden as part of Triscuit's Home Farming Movement!

Almost everything in our garden and greenhouse is reused!

We build our greenhouse from windows our neighbor was getting rid of, some old sliding doors that came from our house, plus scrap wood.

Inside the greenhouse we have plants in pots that were all thrifted, sitting on shelves and tables that we got for free from a variety of places - friends who were getting rid of them, one shelf I took from someone's trash pile in our neighborhood, etc.

Our beans are growing up a metal gate that we removed from an old fence we weren't using.

We use milk jugs and yogurt containers to start seedlings.

The whole thing is pretty much a second hand project! :smileywink:

Nice ideas Kay! I was just browsing to see if I could get some ideas and I'm loving the beans and metal gate. We actually have a piece of one that would work perfectly.
