Just when everything was doing great, we got squash bugs!

That is funny. I make castille soap (and bastille too!) I think that while Dr. Bonner's advertises as castille, it is actually bastille. True castille is made only with olive oil and no other oils (although I believe essential oil is allowed for fragrance/treatments). I make a shampoo bar for my DH with green tea, tea tree oil, olive oil, hemp seed oil, palm kernal oil and coconut oil. I love the smell of it! Really in the garden most any soap will work.

Squash bugs STINK - literally and figuratively. We have battled them - oddly enough in years with high grasshoppers we seem to have fewer squash bugs. hmmmmm

I had already read the article about the squisher (how funny!) but I LOVE the info on guinea fowl.
