Are you still waiting and planning for spring?

Nothing much. Some of DH's "evergreen" daylilies are green and our neighbor claims to have seen some hosta sprouts but basically, we still have ice on the lake and the skies are grey with rain clouds. It's supposed to get to near 60 on St. Patty's Day though so it's possible that some things will think it's time to sprout. Just hope it's not a false spring...

This week all of the snow and ice might just melt from my garden! Of course, we're bound to get more over the next month, so I won't get too excited yet. We started our seeds in early April last year and found that it was a bit too soon - they were taking over our house before we could move them into the greenhouse and garden.

The kids have planted some cabbage seeds and some lettuce that is in the window.

I could work the ground enough to add a few more aspargus crowns to that bed (of course will have to wait a year or two for them to be ready for harvest).

t was in the 60's the past 2 days, but today we are in the low 40's and t is super windy! YUCK!

We at least got into the 40's and maybe low 50's so the snow is going away.

I'm letting the landscaper guys handle everything this year... allergies have been really bad lately.

I have tomato, broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage plants growing. I also have a pot of lettuce/spinach started. Anxiously waiting to get into the dirt!

Weather, as usual, is changeable around here and we went up to nearly 70 and then last night, sleet and rain and maybe even snow (although it didn't stick) but more snow for Sunday!???

But the daffs don't seem to mind, They are popping up everywhere!
