Well, we did have snow and I suppose there is some left outside, but this weekend we had a warm weather front come in. About 31 degrees, wind and rain. ugh. Still raining out and treacherous walking out there. I want snow!!!!!
With the lake nearby, we haven't had to worry about water until this week (it's frozen now). But DH does have a heated brdbath! I need to nag him to put it out!
I've been getting pics from a former ivillager in Montreal, she's been slaughtered up there.
I'm near Montreal. We got 17 inches in one day (a record) last week and it's snowed several times since. We have a snowsquall watch right now, so driving is a bit iffy, but it's very pretty. Been going through birdseed like mad!
from the back door, looking toward the lake (west):
With the scant inch on Monday and a possible two inches on Wednesday (some of which melted yesterday), this additional inch brings us up to a possible 3" on the ground! Looks pretty enough but I HATE SNOW! LOL
It's definitely fun finding the offending word! In some cases, we have found that it is brand names or store names. That could be your issue with the article on room humidifiers.
A scattering on Christmas Eve so I suppose one could imagine a White Christmas (although it didn't make the 1" criterion) and about 2 inches and lots of wind on Boxing Day (had the wind and duration but not the visibility limitations to qualify as a blizzarf). The wind took down a power pole in the neighborhood adn we were without power for 8 hours and internet for three more... so I spent Boxing Day in bed with lots of quilts and a cat to keep warm!
We had Christmas at BILs so no leftovers! YAY!
DOn't you just love that board censor? It won't let me post an aritcle about room huidifiers for some reason! LOL
I've been getting pics from a former ivillager in Montreal, she's been slaughtered up there. We will get a little frozen rain tonight (don't you love that term)? I left my leftovers at the daughter's house for her to deal with.
I got censored tonight for using the name of a common fair game, c_orn_hole.

I'm glad you are thinking about the birds! When it freezes here, I try to remember to make sure there is water, not ice, in the birdbath.

Beautiful! I hate it too, but it is pretty!
Snowed again last night!

Lots of snow in the northeast! Didn't even attempt to go outside today. Still eating leftovers, but I love it!
