My week is going okay.  I was a bit discouraged that I had to take out quite a few rows of crocheting last night....but I would rather do it now than later.  ;)

I have a Camille shawlette on my hooks, a few afghans that have taken a back seat right now....I have a baby kimono on my needles along with a simple cowl and a Plain Vest for my granddaughter...no hurry it is a 12 mo. pattern and she is two months.  ;)

Nothing new....trying to get the baby kimono and Camille finished by the end of next week since they are gifts. Then I am going to concentrate on finishing up a few of the ongoing WIPs.

Happy Knitting & Crocheting!

Having more problems with the boards, frantically busy at work, lots of fun stuff at home. Started craftsy double-knit class. It includes "How to fix errors!" Making neckwarmer for kid. "Mockingjay" pattern. I messed up so badly before I could see the pattern develop, I'm going to seriously get practice redoing stitches. At the top border of the peacock. Gave the cat-hair rose to my friend. He loved it. The other spinners in the crowd were impressed. Last time I was at Michael's I got this six-pack of very small skeins of very brightly colored pearl cotton. I think I'm going to make bookmarks based on the border patterns in "Crochet around the edge". Eventually.

It's about my 4th Craftsy class. I do like them. I've taken classes on spindle spinning, spinning colored fibers, entrelac, and now this. (Note that the "basic" price is a bit much, but there's a sale every couple months.) At this point, I'm looking at the classes on Brioche knitting and sweater fitting (although the last sweater I made was 30+ years past.

The stitches, I managed some of it. Some other parts I'm going to call "a design choice". The big problem was that I had no idea there was a fix other than "tear it out and redo" until I was many rows beyond. One or two rows isn't bad, but I think I was more like 8.

As for the bookmarks, I really like lace, but I'm not into sewing and I'm not sure about wering gobs of it. And I probably could use a few bookmarks.
