August CAL--Day two

I didn't try this pattern before the CAL and I now wish I would have.  I don't usually let a pattern defeat me but I've tried going ahead before posting day two and I do not like the way the pattern is turning out...I've ripped it out a couple of times.  I'm still going to continue posting it hoping someone will be able to get it to work out correctly.  I will also look for another pattern to start posting along with this pattern, for those who may want to work on something different.

Rd 3:  Join first petal color with sl st.  Work in pattern of (2 sc in one st, sc in 2) around, changing petal color after working into 4 sts of round 2.  Join.  Reading ahead to Rd 5, I think this may need to be sc in 3 and the same in Rd 4.

Rd. 4:  TURN.  Work in pattern of (2 sc in one st, sc in 2) around, matching colors to previous round and changing as needed.  Join.

Rd. 5:  TURN.  Work in pattern of (sc in 4 sts, 2 sc) in next around. Join.
