We posted a series of possible resolutions for knitters down in the Yarn folder: http://www.ivillage.com/forums/home-garden/hobbies-crafts/stitchers-niche/yarn-works/resolutions-knitters , many of which, if you change the word form knitting to embroidery, would apply to quilters as well.

Do you have any 2013 resolutions for your embroidery? Here are a few cross-stitch specific resolutions (whcihc could apply to any form of embroidery) to get you thinking:http://crossstitch.about.com/od/reachingout/a/newyearsresolut.htm

I am signed up for two online embroidery "classes"  ("Sumptuous Surfaces Embroidery" class and "Encrusted Crazy Quilting") by SharonB and the Bead Journal Project 2013; in addition, there are a couple of lessons each iremaining n the Janet Perry classes "Color Through the Ages" and Mittens & Mini-Socks". There is also this year's Take a Stitch Tuesday... I will do these classes. After all, I paid for four of them! LOL

But my primary resolution is to "reconnect" with cross-stitch. This aspect of my embroidery addiction was neglected last year for needlepoint projects and now I am ready to get back to the part of embroidery I find the most relaxing and rewarding!
