Megan McConnell of BellaOnline's embroidery forum admits that knots of all kinds are her nemesis http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art180757.asp/zzz

and I have to agree with her in that I simply cannot get French knots right all the time and bullion knots - which I once was able to do quite easily - now seem to have eluded me.

I would have to say composit stitches which require me to get the counting correct in the first place. I seem to be counting challanged and can't make it to 2! Some of Jane Zimmerman's stitches are really difficult for me. But I think much of the problem is that even with a lighted magnifer I can't see that well anymore. The kimono became a real challange on the left sleeve because there were so many layers and I couldn't see it well enough. Probably means when I get my eyes checked in September that they will be changing my glasses again!

Oh yeah --- I totally know what you mean, esecially on Kimono where the stitches were so SMALL!

And I sympathize with the vision issues. After teh cataract surgery, I thought I'd have an easier time of it and, to some extent, I do but even with the magnifier, the eyes start to fuzz up on me after a hour or two --- the dry eye syndrome and wonky corneas aren't helping a bit. I even have issues with being on the computer for any lenght of time.
