...to stitch or sew? What or where and why?
For stitching, I'm usually in front of the big window in the corner of our sectional with my Daylight lamp behind me.
I have taken over one corner of the breakfast table for my stitching. I can see my small TV monitor and the day light is behind my back and it is close enough for me to connect my light to eletricity. I try to keep it pretty neat but you know how hard that can be!
I have a crafting space in the basement room --- I know I've shown pictures here before. But it is always in disarray and that means, usually, when I go down there, I spend more time striaghtening and cleaning than crafting. Besides, it's cold down there, and far removed from "life as we know it" in this house!
When I stitch (needlepoint, cross-stitch, beading) I tend to do that in my bedroom. I have my Ott light with magnifier, my project bag with all the current WIPs, and the television for background noise. I stitch on my bed --- I'm a lazy person!
But if a piece needs finishing, then I go to tthe basement craft space, which has all the necessary supplies, the sewing machine, etc.,
