They would see my "Come With Thankful Hearts" cross stitch, which is hanging directly opposite the front door. And if they should happen to turn around, they would be staring at my cross-stitch dragon piece. Interestingly enough, those are the only two pieces of my stitchery that I have on display in my house, but they are both pretty prominent when you come in. I do have some pillow covers and curtains that I have sewed, but those are not as obvious as hand made.
Right now it would be the pile of magazines, fabric, etc. that are sitting out on the couch while I'm working on my bookmarks for the Stitching for Literacy project.
It would be the frame with a partially hidden project on the table and all the stitcheries that are on the walls in my house. They might also get an idea that something was going from the tool box and the ort bowl on the table.
I have to admit that yes, people would know from the moment they step through the doors they're in the home of a crafter! I'm SHAMELESS! It's everywhere -- and not limited to the public areas of the house either. Even the guest room book cases are now filled with crafting books and projects.
Thanks, Carol. The addiction to paper crafting is getting worse - especially now that I've added a second electronic die cutting machine to the mix. LOL And sales from vendor's market paid for it and more! Even better according to DH! ;)
Sizzix Eclips. Well worth the money. Still have the Cricut and although I don't use it nearly as much, the gals still use it during class time on a fairly regular basis both with the carts and with the software and computers. I'd still like to go up one more step to a Black Cat, but for now, this is doing exactly what I need it to do and I can draw (and use a full size marker in the machine to do the drawing! LOVE IT!), score and cut. Customer service has been fantastic and I have a whole plethora of people willing to help me with problems if I get stuck and I don't have to wait hours on the phone. Totally cool!
Wow! That Black Cat is reviewed tops in all categories EXCEPT customer support. And they say it's heavy, in weight as well as price. But I can see why you would lie one!
