Marti over at Crafters' Community wants to know where most of your crafting ends up. That works for stitchery too... Why not drop in and answer her question here: http://forums.ivillage.com/t5/Craft-Projects-Tips-Tutorials/Where-does-most-of-your-crafting-end-up/m-p/119448509#M3366

Most of my stitching goes as gifts. I am starting to do some projects that I will keep though. Especially as I do larger, more expensive pieces - hard to give those away.

In this vein, I just got, via DH, a request for a price on my blue-ribbon-winning "set of "Purrfect" and "Cat Pack". This is a freind adn I had told her in past that no-one would pay what a stitched piece is wroth in tremrs of materiasl adn time. If I charged her for materials, frames adn $1/hour (which is definitely undervaluing my time, IMO), the pair would cost upwards of $235. We shaell see what she says...
DH said just tell her --- because if I don't find takers for some of these, they'll just end up in a pile of "beautiful things" (his words) until I die and tehn who knows what will happen to them! LOL
