I hope I'm posting in the right spot. I have pieces of a Simplicity 9455 babies pattern and no instructions. The pattern pieces are pinned to fleece fabric and already cut. I have it figured out that the pieces go to a bonnet and a pair of overalls/jumpsuit. I am not going to attempt to make the bonnet, but am interested in making the overalls. I have a similar Butterick pattern, and that helped me get the above pieces figured out to this extent. My main question is: I have front and back facing pieces for the overalls and I'm wondering if these go on the inside and when to attach them? I think they do and to attach them after I have sewn the L & R front and L & R backs together, but before making the bottonholes on the straps. Would I still need bias tape for the straps? My Butterick pattern does not have facing pieces. Also, for the legs my Butterick pattern suggests using snap tape but I was thinking about a zipper instead. Any thoughts? TIA!
